Innovation 4 Growth

Innovation 4 Growth (I4G) is a grant funding programme run by the University of the West of England, Bristol and funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The programme aims to generate R&D activity, to create new jobs and new to market products, and to grow the Swindon & Wiltshire economy by encouraging investment from the private sector.

The programme is offering eligible small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Swindon & Wiltshire grants of between £10,000 and £40,000, to fund up to 35% of the total cost of a research and development (R&D) project.

Alongside grant funding I4G is hosting a series of free training workshops for SMEs in Swindon & Wiltshire to support them to develop innovative products, processes, technologies, and services. Workshops are suitable for start-ups, I4G grant recipients, and innovating and growing businesses across all sectors.

"In manufacturing, it's all about efficiencies. But as always, to achieve the efficiency you need to invest in the right machinery and technology. As a recent new startup, I4G made this possible for us. We are so thankful for the I4G programme in providing this much needed funding which has in turn helped build our team."
